Sophia Southwest Sangha is a collective of people interested in authentic and embodied approaches to Buddhist insight

Fostering a non-dogmatic, non-sectarian yet discerning apporach to studying and practicing the Buddha Dharma.

❋ Drawing on the Western Cannon

Dharma for the West. We are influenced and inspired by the humanities in the vast Western Cannon.

❋ Rooted in Indic Soteriological Scriptural Tradition

We root our studies in the Pali and Sanskrit Cannon of Buddhism as well as drawing insight and contrast from the Yogic and Vedantic traditions
